Every single person that works there is extremely friendly and thoughtful. I have a busy work schedule, and they have been very flexible with appointment times. Their advanced expertise has helped improve my teeth dramatically. I was informed by numerous orthodontists and surgeons that I had to have jaw surgery to fix my open-bite, but Dr. Hanna set me up with Invisalign, and my smile is perfect! It has been extremely convenient to receive both dental and orthodontic care at the same location. I’ve never had to worry about hidden fees or high costs. Redwood City Dental Care is by far the BEST dental and orthodontic spot in California! Thank you all so much! You are all wonderful!

I am TERRIFIED of the dentist. I require gas on a teeth cleaning. I started here about 3 years ago. ALL the staff is so friendly, and they do cater to your needs. I have not required gas for any cleaning, because I trust them. Instead of the loud buzzing high tech cleaning tools, they take the extra time to do it manually, so that I am comfortable. The dentist is extra gentle, and always stops and ask s if I am ok. It feels like a family here. I just want to thank them for always taking the time for me! Love you guys!

I took the Radiation Safety course from the instructor Maryam, she was really good and gave all the necessary information. The class was very informative. All the staffs are friendly. Will recommend this place for my friends whoever wants to get the certification.
I have called to schedule an infection control class and coronal polishing. They were very accommodating and helpful. My wife attended in this class too, and I can tell that they are very professional and students will learn a lot from their class.

My 2 year old went in for his first dental visit. The team let him watch his brother and play with the equipment a little so he was extremely happy. At the end he even got a prize. He loves the dentist!
My son is an active 4 year old. But he loves going to the dentist! The front staff is super friendly to him and greet him with excitement. The dental assistants let him explore the tools before they use them on him which he loves. And of course the Dr. is quick and fun with his final check. We drive 40 minutes to go to this dentist, but it's worth it for the quality and attention we get. Thank you!
I have been postponing this appointment for 5 months, it was set for a tooth implants, the reason I was putting it off because my cousin had an implants that she suffered after doing it for 4 months, and she had to take 4 jars of antibiotic and 4 jars of pain killer, so I was so scared of going through that, but Dr. Hana encouraged me and his assistant Yelena encouraged me and she said that nobody is like doctor Hana, after so much thinking I went and I did it, I was treated like a member of the family, there were like 12 people working that day, 5 dentists and 7 nurses, they were so busy and each of them came to me encouraging me and saying don't worry you won't feel anything, and indeed I didn't feel anything even after that I didn't have to use the pain killer, as if nothing was done. Thank you doctor Hana and everybody on his team, you are great. I recommend my dentist to everybody who want to have a peace of mind and a dentist to trust.

I took the coronal polishing course .This class was informative just the instruction I needed to understand the material. The teacher who was Miriam was excellent at answering any questions I had . Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for dental licensing classes .

Before getting my service I was very nervous about potential pain. I had non and everything went very smoothly. Dr. Hana is very skilled professional.
My pediatrician recommended fluoride treatment for my son's 2 year check up so I decided to bring him to our dentist. The staff was awesome with my little one! He does not like others to brush his teeth (puts up a fight every night if I don't let him do it himself) and he is very shy with strangers. However, the staff sang with him and made him feel comfortable. He and my 4 year old love this office now. Thank you!

Maryann was my instructor for both courses and was very informative and thorough teacher. She was patient and took the time to answer all our questions. Highly recommend taking these courses!

His receptionists Yelena and Alonzo are very welcoming and loving. More recently I have been going in for cleanings and Rupi has been my hygienist for a couple of years. I love this dentist and his staffI always feel very well treated when I go. Everybody treats me as if I were something special, which I know is not true because they see people like me all day. But they will stop to talk to me about their lives. And I feel supported but not smothered. For example, the dentist wants me to wear a guard at night. But I don't like to wear a guard and he knows it. So he gently reminds me that it would be good but that is all. I always look forward to my visit. The office is very close to Downtown Redwood City - one of my favorite areas in the Bay and also close to the train station which means I do not have to fight traffic. Outstanding. Recommend highly.

I was in Redwood City for a short stay and had the kind of toothache that makes you want to curl up in the fetal position. They were able to accommodate me with limited notice and took care of me as if I were a long time client. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and they were sincerely interested in alleviating my pain. I don't write reviews, but I have to say - Redwood City Dental Care is the place to go! I can't thank them enough - they certainly saved my trip to RWC and San Francisco.

Helpful and ProfessionalToday's visit was a cleaning visit but I had some issues with a crown I had done about 4 months ago. My bite has been a little off for the past 1.5 years but it wasn't a big deal. It was something I needed to acclimate due to my grinding and teeth shifting around. I saw a new doctor today, along with Dr. Hannah as a backup/consultant. My NTI wasn't holding up as it should so I had a mold done for my Night Guard. All in all, everyone was very informative and kind. Elena at the front desk really looks out for your best interest in terms of when to get procedures done with regard to your insurance billing cycle. The whole office is really friendly and everyone seems to like working there. The place is really clean too!

They do great work and are always so friendly. Paying out of pocket to have major work done because I don't trust the dentist my insurance covers! Hard to feel at home in a dental office, but somehow Redwood Dental is that welcoming.

I have spent years at several different offices. Once I have found this office I could not be more impressed. Not only do they treat you as a friend but I receive a personally signed card from the staff every year. They go above and beyond to treat you as family and not a client. Absolutely wonderful dentist office!! Great people that make you feel like family and very professional, state of the art dental care! I used to be terrified of going to the dentist but Dr. Hanna and his team are so amazing that I have been coming here for years! They are extremely helpful, friendly and flexible, which works great with my sometimes chaotic schedule. They help to maximize my insurance benefits, and thanks to Invisalign not only do my teeth look better than they have in twenty years but my migraines have been a lot less frequent. My whole family comes here and I cannot recommend them enough!

The entire staff at Redwood City Dental Care treats me like family. They are very professional and obviously need to make dental recommendations based on your health. However, they are never pushy or try to sell products or services. Highly recommended. Dr. Hanna and Dr. Lopez are great.
Dr. Hanna was the only dentist to accurately diagnose my gum issues and set me up with perio trays. Didn't require any surgery and now my gums look great and my teeth are white. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. This office makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

Dr. Hanna & team are life savers. After many years of dealing with migraines and going to Kaiser and getting pill after pill. Dr. Hanna introduced me to botox for migraines and I have officially stopped taking medication. I travel a lot for work and find it annoying how Kaiser was always recommending new medications for me to take that temporarily helped. After getting botox done, I don't take any medication and don't get migraines. Dr. H and team you are the best!

When walking into this office you are always treated like family. Alonzo and Yelena the front office staff are always so kind and helpful. All the back office staff help in all your needs. I went in to get a filling fixed and a cavity filled by Dr. Lopez. Although I don't like the dentist I always feel good when I am coming in, I know I am getting quality work done. It is first time, in a long time, that I am able to eat without having something get stuck between my teeth. I am truly happy with my dentist office!!
I always feel very well treated when I go. Everybody treats me as if I were something special, which I know is not true because they see people like me all day. But they will stop to talk to me about their lives. And I feel supported but not smothered. For example, the dentist wants me to wear a guard at night. But I don't like to wear a guard and he knows it. So he gently reminds me that it would be good but that is all. I always look forward to my visit. The office is very close to Downtown Redwood City - one of my favorite areas in the Bay and also close to the train station which means I do not have to fight traffic. Outstanding. Recommend highly.

I love going to RWC Dental. I've been coming to this office for almost 10 years. Here, I overcame all my fears about dentists and hygenists. When I went in for my checkup and cleaning I was greeted with a loving how do you do and a hug, cause Elena an I have been knowing each other for more than 8 years. I was given the chance to go to another dentist office but I declined it cause I am very satisfied with the service I have gotten and I love the people that work at Redwood Dental. Dr. Hanna has always been fair with me with his prices when I have had to have any major work done on my teeth and has shown me why it was necessary for me to get the work done. I appreciate that very much.

My visit to Redwood City Dental was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and explained he entire procedure to me up front. They were professional and knowledgeable. My teeth cleaning was normal, and they addressed all areas of concern, how to manage concerns, and optional ways to increase my dental health. I highly recommend this practice and will definitely be using them as my primary!

Today's visit was a cleaning visit but I had some issues with a crown I had done about 4 months ago. My bite has been a little off for the past 1.5 years but it wasn't a big deal. It was something I needed to acclimate due to my grinding and teeth shifting around. I saw a new doctor today, along with Dr. Hannah as a backup/consultant. My NTI wasn't holding up as it should so I had a mold done for my Night Guard. All in all, everyone was very informative and kind. Elena at the front desk really looks out for your best interest in terms of when to get procedures done with regard to your insurance billing cycle. The whole office is really friendly and everyone seems to like working there. The place is really clean too!

I first heard about this group from my Husband. He couldn't stop talking about how wonderful they are. When we received a birthday card for my Husband and it was signed by each and every person, i was impressed. My husband told me to just make an appointment there you'll love them. My first experience here was totally awesome! When I came in one day just to make the appointment, I was greeted by Yelena, she was so warm and friendly. I felt comfortable right away and loved the ambience. From the staff to the music selection, superb! I knew then that this was the place for me! Let's fast forward to today......First off I was running a bit behind, called and spoke to Alonzo and he told me no problem and to drive careful. I got off the phone thinking wow, nice guy! I finally made it to my appointment, Alonzo greeted me with a smile and paperwork. I couldn't believe he wasn't mad that i was late. The whole staff was very welcoming just like the first time. I was lead into a room where I was welcomed again and told that I was now part of their family. My dental hygienist Thai was extremely gentle and fun to talk to. She did an awesome and thorough cleaning. Dr Hanna came in to check out my teeth, I had a few concerns, he was very patient and he offered different options and explained to me what each option would deliver and why. It was my first time visiting this dental office. The staff especially Alonso the front office assistant were great. They were kind, helpful, and answered all my questions. I even had a nice conversation with Dr. Lopez, while he filled my tooth. They did a cleaning, X-rays, orthodontist consult, and worked in my filling on my first visit. I would recommend this office to everyone, it's not only a dental office, they make you feel like you're a part of their family!!!

The mouth guard that Dr. Hanna prescribed which I used every night to sleep worked effectively for over a year. The day after my visit for hygiene work, my two front teeth broke in a clean straight cut. I was devastatedly sad as my expectations of the brigework with the use of the mouth guard to sleep is high. Staff was friendly and attentive. Although I felt like I was being "sold" the whole time. I have never had a dentist make so many unnecessary/expensive recommendations. Especially upon our first meeting. And then to be taken into a room to be "closed" on the next expensive process. I felt like I was at a used car dealership. It was even insisted and asked multiple times if I could get it done before the new year. Yelena was great at the reception desk. She went over my paperwork I had to fill out and explained my payment options thoroughly. Rupi, the hygienist, was very gentle and thorough with the cleaning and made my visit to the dentist easier than expected. She also explained everything to me, what she was doing, what my x-rays showed, and my options for certain procedures. Dr. Hanna was very kind as well. He came in once Rupi was finished cleaning and finished off by checking by teeth one last time. Everyone here is patient and is actually working to benefit you and your health! Well, the actual dentist did not make me feel comfortable. He only told me what I thought was a negative outcome. Which did not make feel good about the dental experience of what's to come. He mainly focused on the fact that I might lose more of my teeth. He gave me no hope of the possibility of saving my teeth. I just don't feel too good about him. I felt and got a more positive feedback from the receptionist and hygienist, but unfortunately they are not going to be doing the serious stuff like the extraction. Jan 11, 2014

Please tell Dr. Hanna that he was correct to refer me to my physician for an xray to see if my cheekbone was broken, I went for a CT scan and it was fractured in 4 places. I was in for cleaning, etc. A birthday gift from my daughter. When they wised to book me for another cleaning, I asked the charge. $110. I did book an appt.in 4 months, but can only wonder if there is a discount for those of us with few teeth due to living through the depression years. I have only 8 teeth. Oct 14, 2013

I was under the impression that my cavity diagnosis was based off an X-ray I took last February 2012. (At least that is the image the technician showed me, after meeting with Dr. Hanna). Since I took new X-rays on Sept 2013, I would have preferred to see the cavity on the Sept 2013 X-rays, rather than the old ones, since the cavity was not diagnosed back in Feb 2012. I would feel more comfortable choosing dental services on more complete information, before scheduling procedures. Thanks Sep 25, 2013

The hygienist was awesome. Not painful and my teeth look super clean. Never met the dentist because he was too busy with another patient. Clean office with friendly staff. Seems up on new-ish dental technology. Booking was simple and they keep you posted with text message reminders. Staff are a bit too salesman-like. Trying to sell mouthguards all the time...I know grinding is an issue but I was told I may need a guard before I was even examined.

The staff has the best bed-side manner i've ever experienced! They're so warm and welcoming that it makes you forget that you're undergoing any pain. This visit was one of my favorites. I arrived at my appointment time, taken in within 2 minutes of arrival, the work was started and completed without much delay. In & out in reasonable time. That's alright by me!
I am very satisfied with work that was done on my teeth by Dr. Tanega and her assistant Mahan. My teeth were horrible that I couldn't smile. They put my braces on 2 years ago and every month I saw significant changes with my teeth. Job was done on time as was promised. Now braces are off and I am not shy anymore to smile. I am very grateful to Dr. Tanega and all wonderful people who work in this office.

I came to RWC Dental because an implant I got done by another dentist in Bakersfield had the crown fall off nearly three years after it was inserted. I'm scared of dentists, and it doesn't help that I inherited my father's terribly teeth. I went to several dentists in RWC before finally coming to RWC Dental. I was already feeling embarrassed and sad about my missing crown on my implant, and I wasn't sure if I could be helped.You know what? I am so happy and thankful for RWC Dental. From the first time I talked to Alonso on the phone, I just felt comfortable. Dr. Hanna fixed the previous dentist's error (it helps that he teaches dental students about implants!), I paid a fair and reasonable price, and my tooth does not hurt.Customer service, or patient service in this instance, is always important. This was, hands down, the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. I came in without an appointment and massive abscess in my tooth. I was taken care of immediately. Every single employee there is a warm and caring person, including the hygienists and dentist who are also highly skilled professionals. I left feeling like I have a new family. . . that takes care of my teeth. . . and doesn't drink too much and cry over the fact that I'm not married yet.

I cannot speak for any "real" dental work, other than a cleaning (fortunately, I have not had to deal with any of that). I can however say that from the first time I walked in, Alphonso was very friendly and polite. Took info and gave me some details, as well as setting up my first appt, Yelena (?? sorry, hon!) was very professional, informative, polite, and funny at times @ my first visit. Carol, my hygenist...a DOLL!. She and I clicked, and that particular person is SO important to me. Dr Hanna was very nice and very professional. Staff: All AWESOME! Parking: Is at a premium, but they are so worth going to. :-D

As usual I had a great visit at the dentist office. I use to hate going to the dentist because I felt like one among many many people visiting the dentist office to get the help needed. And had to wait a good while in the waiting room. I have never had to wait a long time at your office.
The other day I went in for my wisdom teeth extraction. They gave me some novocaine shots got me really numb so I couldn't feel anything. I was a little anxious for the procedure but I felt no pain and it went very quickly. I am healing very nicely and I really appreciate how caring the people of Redwood City dental are with their patients and made my experience as comfortable as possible.
This is a fantastic dental service. From the moment I walked in they treated me with care and professionalism. I will be coming back for my routine cleaning!

My husband and I both went to our first appointments at Redwood City Dental yesterday. We were impressed by how friendly and thorough the office staff was upon arrival. Our experience just continued to get better throughout the appointment. For an extremely reasonable price we received X-rays, customed teeth whitening trays, a dental exam, and the best teeth cleaning either of us has ever had. We look forward to bringing our children here and to our next visit in the Fall.

As I step into the office, I'm greeted with a big hello and warm smiles from everyone and it isn't because they want to show off their great teeth. Everyone is genuinely happy to see you! Once in the chair, I can count on sound dental direction and a great deal of highly skilled and technical expertise from both the doctor and staff. I would highly recommend Redwood Dental to anyone. Most notably, I can almost always count on at least one laugh before I leave--that's extremely important for good general health.
Ridiculously professional, warm, welcoming, attentive. RWC Dental has embraced the concept that medical/dental is a service industry. I was never left alone, every little twitch during my service raised concern. Every step in the procedure was explained as it happened. Their techniques, tools, equipment are all current & modern. During the procedure (small filling), they were very efficient, but with total patience - they performed the procedure as quickly as possible without sacrificing my comfort. Five big stars!
My fitting was a bit stressful and I must confess I have been afraid to wear it. I'm afraid I won't be able to get it off. So, when I'm a little lessed stressed I will try it. I've had crowns get stuck before so I wasn't surprised it got stuck, but it has left me with a little anxiety about it, which I'm certain is unfounded. Even with the NTI getting stuck the staff handled themselves professionally, but also with that warmth and high concern for my well being that they all seem to share. I got lots of support and hugs from all. Thanks so much for making sure I'm well taken care of. Happy Holidays!

How nice it is to be a new patient to such a professional and warm office. I was treated like a queen, every question answered and concern addressed. This is a well run business people. Just because you can perform dental work doesn't mean you can run a business and these are the dentists you need to avoid as they may perform unnecessary work and bill you incorrectly or not as advantageously for your insurance coverage. I like to beleive that you can trust that Redwood City Dental Care cares about you more than their own pocket book. That's the feeling I left with. Dr. Petros even cleaned my teeth himself (a first visit welcome gift)and he was ever so gentle. I'm sold and I'm telling all my friends. Oh, and the staff? Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I had major dental work done all upper new teeth crouns and inplants DR. HANNA seriously is the best dentist I've ever seen. I recomend them to all my friends
I used to go to a scary dentist for years. I did not mind him until he removed my wisdom teeth. Now, I tolerate dentistry pain well, but this was unbearable. The dentist put local anesthesia and pulled away. One tooth was rooted well causing the dentist to pull with all his might (foot on the chair) to remove the tooth. This procedure (for one tooth) took an hour. I wish I was exaggerating! The only place my eyes could rest on was the clock starring at me. WHY WAS I NOT SLEEPING DURING THIS SURGERY?? I finally got my own insurance and thought it was time to switch dentists ASAP! Yelena recommended to me Dr. Hanna. I took a chance because who could be worse than the dentist who ripped my tooth out. I found out I had two cavities (first ones). My fright came back thinking about the cavity procedures. My friends told me "it hurts", "you can't eat for a couple hours after wards", or "your face will be numb all day." The day of the fillings, I decided to eat a huge breakfast (aka my last bfast). Of course when I lay on the dentist chair, I start to freak out. I held my breath and let the procedure begin. Not only did it not hurt, I could eat right away AND my face did not look numb. The local numbing was truly local. In addition, Dr. Hanna is very specific and precise on how his business is run, putting his patients' safety and health first. This attitude makes patients feel comfortable..yes comfortable at a dentist office. His staff is amazing and warm. They all are friendly and enjoy their jobs. I am happy I ran away from the scary dentist and was referred to Dr. Hanna.

Went in for their $99 teeth cleaning/x-ray/exam special and was very impressed. Everyone who I came in contact with was very friendly.They answered all of my questions thoroughly and made several good recommendations, but didn't try to push unnecessary procedures.I don't have insurance, but found their pricing to be really affordable (plus, they make it a point to notify you of costs BEFORE they do the procedure - something not to be taken for granted).

It's been just over a year since I started going to Redwood City Dental with Dr. Hanna. I was a bit hesitant at first because they're located pretty far from where I live and I had been going to my previous dentist my entire life. But I needed a dental implant specialist and it's not easy to find one who really knows what they're doing. The whole procedure went something like... insert metal screw base in to bone, let bone heal around screw base, insert metal screw onto screw base, fit crown for screw, insert crown.... I'm pretty sure I missed a few details, but if you have any questions, definitely check out Redwood City Dental; my consultation visit was free! Today, I never even notice that I have a dental implant and sometimes I forget that it was just a year ago that I had the procedure done. Ahhh time flies... In fact, having my wisdom teeth pulled caused me more discomfort than the whole dental implant procedure. Sidenote: I use Redwood City Dental for my teeth cleanings and they've done a great job with that too! Also, making appointments with them is very easy. They are very willing to accommodate around your schedule and have cool phone text reminders for your upcoming appointments.

Root canals are scary to me, however this time it turned out to be a pleasnatly much milder experience for me. Dr. Petros and his assistant were both very attentive and caring.

Proffesional friendly staff and very capable Doctor. When I found out I needed an implant, it was unfamiliar territory for me so I naturally was worried. Dr Hanna and his staff quickly got me at ease and as it turns out it was for good reason. Minimal pain was involved for such a difficult procedure. I recommend this office very highly.
At a very early age, I was diagnosed with a very complicated dental case that, I was told, was going to be very difficult to manage, very expensive to fix. My teeth were crooked and gave me an awkwardly crooked smile. I spent most of my life not smiling and teaching myself to speak with as little open mouth movement as possible. All of that changed when I met with Dr. Petros. Upon our first meeting, he told me I had hope; that my situation could be fixed easily. He laid out a clear plan for me, including the financial and logistical details. I could tell that he was not after money only because there were many steps that he could have encouraged me to do but he said I didn?t need. Dr. Petros and his staff were kind, patient, accommodating and very encouraging. Dr. Petros never made me feel any pain. In fact, he is the LEAST PAINFUL dentist I have ever experienced in my life. After my surgery, I can truly say Dr. Petros gave me the smile I never dreamed I could have. I smile broadly now and feel no shame showing my teeth. He made me feel beautiful, a feeling I always felt lacking because of my teeth. I never realized what an impact it would make on my life since I had become so accustomed to managing my crooked smile. I have received many compliments from family and friends. I recommend Dr. Petros with the highest degree. He is professional, incredibly skilled and a true master of teeth. Best of all was to see how happy he became at my increased satisfaction.

This is a wonderful dental clinic. The staff and dentist are very caring and friendly. The biggest distinctions about this clinic is that the staff is really on top of educating and training you on how to take care of your teeth, they really want you to understand and realize the underlying problem behind your dental problems, and they really want to create a comprehensive dental plan that is individualized to meet your needs both in terms of your personal dental health and financial capabilities. This is the first dentist office I've ever been to where they did such a thorough and comprehensive evaluation to find out what was wrong. This is going to save me a lot of money in the future for dental care and will finally rid me of my dental issues!!!

The Dentist Dr. Petros is a wonderful dentist. He took his time and patiently worked on my teeth. He took great care in doing everything I was told i needed done. I have not seen my teeth in the shape i saw them after the work was done. I could not believe my eyes. I am so proud of my teeth now that i shall make sure all my friends, co-workers and family members see them.I could not have believed that I can still have beautiful teeth after all the years of disappointment.

Every single person that works there is extremely friendly and thoughtful. I have a busy work schedule, and they have been very flexible with appointment times. Their advanced expertise has helped improve my teeth dramatically. I was informed by numerous orthodontists and surgeons that I had to have jaw surgery to fix my open-bite, but Dr. Hanna set me up with Invisalign, and my smile is perfect! It has been extremely convenient to receive both dental and orthodontic care at the same location. I’ve never had to worry about hidden fees or high costs. I am TERRIFIED of the dentist. I require gas on a teeth cleaning. I started here about 3 years ago. ALL the staff is so friendly, and they do cater to your needs. I have not required gas for any cleaning, because I trust them. Instead of the loud buzzing high tech cleaning tools, they take the extra time to do it manually, so that I am comfortable. The dentist is extra gentle, and always stops and ask s if I am ok. It feels like a family here. I just want to thank them for always taking the time for me! Love you guys!

I have called to schedule an infection control class and coronal polishing. They were very accommodating and helpful. My wife attended in this class too, and I can tell that they are very professional and students will learn a lot from their class.

My son is an active 4 year old. But he loves going to the dentist! The front staff is super friendly to him and greet him with excitement. The dental assistants let him explore the tools before they use them on him which he loves. And of course the Dr. is quick and fun with his final check. We drive 40 minutes to go to this dentist, but it's worth it for the quality and attention we get. Thank you!
I have been postponing this appointment for 5 months, it was set for a tooth implants, the reason I was putting it off because my cousin had an implants that she suffered after doing it for 4 months, and she had to take 4 jars of antibiotic and 4 jars of pain killer, so I was so scared of going through that, but Dr. Hana encouraged me and his assistant Yelena encouraged me and she said that nobody is like doctor Hana, after so much thinking I went and I did it, I was treated like a member of the family, there were like 12 people working that day, 5 dentists and 7 nurses, they were so busy and each of them came to me encouraging me and saying don't worry you won't feel anything, and indeed I didn't feel anything even after that I didn't have to use the pain killer, as if nothing was done. Thank you doctor Hana and everybody on his team, you are great. I recommend my dentist to everybody who want to have a peace of mind and a dentist to trust.

Before getting my service I was very nervous about potential pain. I had non and everything went very smoothly. Dr. Hana is very skilled professional.
My pediatrician recommended fluoride treatment for my son's 2 year check up so I decided to bring him to our dentist. The staff was awesome with my little one! He does not like others to brush his teeth (puts up a fight every night if I don't let him do it himself) and he is very shy with strangers. However, the staff sang with him and made him feel comfortable. He and my 4 year old love this office now. Thank you!

I love this dentist and his staffI always feel very well treated when I go. Everybody treats me as if I were something special, which I know is not true because they see people like me all day. But they will stop to talk to me about their lives. And I feel supported but not smothered. For example, the dentist wants me to wear a guard at night. But I don't like to wear a guard and he knows it. So he gently reminds me that it would be good but that is all. I always look forward to my visit. The office is very close to Downtown Redwood City - one of my favorite areas in the Bay and also close to the train station which means I do not have to fight traffic. Outstanding. Recommend highly.

Absolutely stellar dentist. This review is long overdue, but better late than never! I was in Redwood City for a short stay and had the kind of toothache that makes you want to curl up in the fetal position. They were able to accommodate me with limited notice and took care of me as if I were a long time client. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and they were sincerely interested in alleviating my pain. I don't write reviews, but I have to say - Redwood City Dental Care is the place to go! I can't thank them enough - they certainly saved my trip to RWC and San Francisco.

Helpful and ProfessionalToday's visit was a cleaning visit but I had some issues with a crown I had done about 4 months ago. My bite has been a little off for the past 1.5 years but it wasn't a big deal. It was something I needed to acclimate due to my grinding and teeth shifting around. I saw a new doctor today, along with Dr. Hannah as a backup/consultant. My NTI wasn't holding up as it should so I had a mold done for my Night Guard. All in all, everyone was very informative and kind. Elena at the front desk really looks out for your best interest in terms of when to get procedures done with regard to your insurance billing cycle. Dr. Hanna was the only dentist to accurately diagnose my gum issues and set me up with perio trays. Didn't require any surgery and now my gums look great and my teeth are white. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. This office makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

Dr. Hanna & team are life savers. After many years of dealing with migraines and going to Kaiser and getting pill after pill. Dr. Hanna introduced me to botox for migraines and I have officially stopped taking medication. I travel a lot for work and find it annoying how Kaiser was always recommending new medications for me to take that temporarily helped. After getting botox done, I don't take any medication and don't get migraines. Dr. H and team you are the best!

When walking into this office you are always treated like family. Alonzo and Yelena the front office staff are always so kind and helpful. All the back office staff help in all your needs. I went in to get a filling fixed and a cavity filled by Dr. Lopez. Although I don't like the dentist I always feel good when I am coming in, I know I am getting quality work done. It is first time, in a long time, that I am able to eat without having something get stuck between my teeth. I am truly happy with my dentist office!!
I always feel very well treated when I go. Everybody treats me as if I were something special, which I know is not true because they see people like me all day. But they will stop to talk to me about their lives. And I feel supported but not smothered. For example, the dentist wants me to wear a guard at night. But I don't like to wear a guard and he knows it. So he gently reminds me that it would be good but that is all. I always look forward to my visit. The office is very close to Downtown Redwood City - one of my favorite areas in the Bay and also close to the train station which means I do not have to fight traffic. Outstanding. Recommend highly.

Today's visit was a cleaning visit but I had some issues with a crown I had done about 4 months ago. My bite has been a little off for the past 1.5 years but it wasn't a big deal. It was something I needed to acclimate due to my grinding and teeth shifting around. I saw a new doctor today, along with Dr. Hannah as a backup/consultant. My NTI wasn't holding up as it should so I had a mold done for my Night Guard. All in all, everyone was very informative and kind. Elena at the front desk really looks out for your best interest in terms of when to get procedures done with regard to your insurance billing cycle. The whole office is really friendly and everyone seems to like working there. The place is really clean too!

I first heard about this group from my Husband. He couldn't stop talking about how wonderful they are. When we received a birthday card for my Husband and it was signed by each and every person, i was impressed. My husband told me to just make an appointment there you'll love them. My first experience here was totally awesome! When I came in one day just to make the appointment, I was greeted by Yelena, she was so warm and friendly. I felt comfortable right away and loved the ambience. From the staff to the music selection, superb! I knew then that this was the place for me! Let's fast forward to today......First off I was running a bit behind, called and spoke to Alonzo and he told me no problem and to drive careful. I got off the phone thinking wow, nice guy! I finally made it to my appointment, Alonzo greeted me with a smile and paperwork. I couldn't believe he wasn't mad that i was late. The whole staff was very welcoming just like the first time. I was lead into a room where I was welcomed again and told that I was now part of their family. My dental hygienist Thai was extremely gentle and fun to talk to. She did an awesome and thorough cleaning. Dr Hanna came in to check out my teeth, I had a few concerns, he was very patient and he offered different options and explained to me what each option would deliver and why. It was my first time visiting this dental office. The staff especially Alonso the front office assistant were great. They were kind, helpful, and answered all my questions. I even had a nice conversation with Dr. Lopez, while he filled my tooth. They did a cleaning, X-rays, orthodontist consult, and worked in my filling on my first visit. I would recommend this office to everyone, it's not only a dental office, they make you feel like you're a part of their family!!!

The mouth guard that Dr. Hanna prescribed which I used every night to sleep worked effectively for over a year. The day after my visit for hygiene work, my two front teeth broke in a clean straight cut. I was devastatedly sad as my expectations of the brigework with the use of the mouth guard to sleep is high. Staff was friendly and attentive. Although I felt like I was being "sold" the whole time. I have never had a dentist make so many unnecessary/expensive recommendations. Especially upon our first meeting. And then to be taken into a room to be "closed" on the next expensive process. I felt like I was at a used car dealership. It was even insisted and asked multiple times if I could get it done before the new year. Yelena was great at the reception desk. She went over my paperwork I had to fill out and explained my payment options thoroughly. Rupi, the hygienist, was very gentle and thorough with the cleaning and made my visit to the dentist easier than expected. She also explained everything to me, what she was doing, what my x-rays showed, and my options for certain procedures. Dr. Hanna was very kind as well. He came in once Rupi was finished cleaning and finished off by checking by teeth one last time. Everyone here is patient and is actually working to benefit you and your health! Well, the actual dentist did not make me feel comfortable. He only told me what I thought was a negative outcome. Which did not make feel good about the dental experience of what's to come. He mainly focused on the fact that I might lose more of my teeth. He gave me no hope of the possibility of saving my teeth. I just don't feel too good about him. I felt and got a more positive feedback from the receptionist and hygienist, but unfortunately they are not going to be doing the serious stuff like the extraction. Jan 11, 2014

Please tell Dr. Hanna that he was correct to refer me to my physician for an xray to see if my cheekbone was broken, I went for a CT scan and it was fractured in 4 places. I was in for cleaning, etc. A birthday gift from my daughter. When they wised to book me for another cleaning, I asked the charge. $110. I did book an appt.in 4 months, but can only wonder if there is a discount for those of us with few teeth due to living through the depression years. I have only 8 teeth. Oct 14, 2013

I was under the impression that my cavity diagnosis was based off an X-ray I took last February 2012. (At least that is the image the technician showed me, after meeting with Dr. Hanna). Since I took new X-rays on Sept 2013, I would have preferred to see the cavity on the Sept 2013 X-rays, rather than the old ones, since the cavity was not diagnosed back in Feb 2012. I would feel more comfortable choosing dental services on more complete information, before scheduling procedures. Thanks Sep 25, 2013

The hygienist was awesome. Not painful and my teeth look super clean. Never met the dentist because he was too busy with another patient. Clean office with friendly staff. Seems up on new-ish dental technology. Booking was simple and they keep you posted with text message reminders. Staff are a bit too salesman-like. Trying to sell mouthguards all the time...I know grinding is an issue but I was told I may need a guard before I was even examined.
I have been a patient with this office for over 10 years. I feel as though I have watched this practice flourish. From day one with this practice, I have had wonderful visits. Quality dental service, excellent care with wonderful comfort.
The staff has the best bed-side manner i've ever experienced! They're so warm and welcoming that it makes you forget that you're undergoing any pain. I had a tooth implant here as a bit of an emergency and they were extremely accommodating, kind and amazing. I would recommend everyone to redwood city dental!
This visit was one of my favorites. I arrived at my appointment time, taken in within 2 minutes of arrival, the work was started and completed without much delay. In & out in reasonable time. That's alright by me!
I am very satisfied with work that was done on my teeth by Dr. Tanega and her assistant Mahan. My teeth were horrible that I couldn't smile. They put my braces on 2 years ago and every month I saw significant changes with my teeth. Job was done on time as was promised. Now braces are off and I am not shy anymore to smile. I am very grateful to Dr. Tanega and all wonderful people who work in this office.

I came to RWC Dental because an implant I got done by another dentist in Bakersfield had the crown fall off nearly three years after it was inserted. I'm scared of dentists, and it doesn't help that I inherited my father's terribly teeth. I went to several dentists in RWC before finally coming to RWC Dental. I was already feeling embarrassed and sad about my missing crown on my implant, and I wasn't sure if I could be helped.You know what? I am so happy and thankful for RWC Dental. From the first time I talked to Alonso on the phone, I just felt comfortable. Dr. Hanna fixed the previous dentist's error (it helps that he teaches dental students about implants!), I paid a fair and reasonable price, and my tooth does not hurt.Customer service, or patient service in this instance, is always important. Great office. I appreciated my visit because it's the first time I didn't feel rushed to get out. They took their time and really focused on getting to know me. The assistant was great. This was, hands down, the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. I came in without an appointment and massive abscess in my tooth. I was taken care of immediately. Every single employee there is a warm and caring person, including the hygienists and dentist who are also highly skilled professionals. I left feeling like I have a new family. . . that takes care of my teeth. . . and doesn't drink too much and cry over the fact that I'm not married yet.

I cannot speak for any "real" dental work, other than a cleaning (fortunately, I have not had to deal with any of that). I can however say that from the first time I walked in, Alphonso was very friendly and polite. Took info and gave me some details, as well as setting up my first appt, Yelena (?? sorry, hon!) was very professional, informative, polite, and funny at times @ my first visit. Carol, my hygenist...a DOLL!. She and I clicked, and that particular person is SO important to me. Dr Hanna was very nice and very professional. Staff: All AWESOME! Parking: Is at a premium, but they are so worth going to. :-D

As usual I had a great visit at the dentist office. I use to hate going to the dentist because I felt like one among many many people visiting the dentist office to get the help needed. And had to wait a good while in the waiting room. I have never had to wait a long time at your office.
The other day I went in for my wisdom teeth extraction. They gave me some novocaine shots got me really numb so I couldn't feel anything. I was a little anxious for the procedure but I felt no pain and it went very quickly. I am healing very nicely and I really appreciate how caring the people of Redwood City dental are with their patients and made my experience as comfortable as possible.
This is a fantastic dental service. From the moment I walked in they treated me with care and professionalism. I will be coming back for my routine cleaning!

My husband and I both went to our first appointments at Redwood City Dental yesterday. We were impressed by how friendly and thorough the office staff was upon arrival. Our experience just continued to get better throughout the appointment. For an extremely reasonable price we received X-rays, customed teeth whitening trays, a dental exam, and the best teeth cleaning either of us has ever had. We look forward to bringing our children here and to our next visit in the Fall.

As I step into the office, I'm greeted with a big hello and warm smiles from everyone and it isn't because they want to show off their great teeth. Everyone is genuinely happy to see you! Once in the chair, I can count on sound dental direction and a great deal of highly skilled and technical expertise from both the doctor and staff. I would highly recommend Redwood Dental to anyone. Most notably, I can almost always count on at least one laugh before I leave--that's extremely important for good general health.
Ridiculously professional, warm, welcoming, attentive. RWC Dental has embraced the concept that medical/dental is a service industry. I was never left alone, every little twitch during my service raised concern. Every step in the procedure was explained as it happened. Their techniques, tools, equipment are all current & modern. During the procedure (small filling), they were very efficient, but with total patience - they performed the procedure as quickly as possible without sacrificing my comfort. Five big stars!
My fitting was a bit stressful and I must confess I have been afraid to wear it. I'm afraid I won't be able to get it off. So, when I'm a little lessed stressed I will try it. I've had crowns get stuck before so I wasn't surprised it got stuck, but it has left me with a little anxiety about it, which I'm certain is unfounded. Even with the NTI getting stuck the staff handled themselves professionally, but also with that warmth and high concern for my well being that they all seem to share. I got lots of support and hugs from all. Thanks so much for making sure I'm well taken care of. Happy Holidays!

How nice it is to be a new patient to such a professional and warm office. I was treated like a queen, every question answered and concern addressed. This is a well run business people. Just because you can perform dental work doesn't mean you can run a business and these are the dentists you need to avoid as they may perform unnecessary work and bill you incorrectly or not as advantageously for your insurance coverage. I like to beleive that you can trust that Redwood City Dental Care cares about you more than their own pocket book. That's the feeling I left with. Dr. Petros even cleaned my teeth himself (a first visit welcome gift)and he was ever so gentle. I'm sold and I'm telling all my friends. Oh, and the staff? Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. From the front desk to Carol to the gentlemen who set up my next appt.

I had major dental work done all upper new teeth crouns and inplants DR. HANNA seriously is the best dentist I've ever seen. I recomend them to all my friends
I used to go to a scary dentist for years. I did not mind him until he removed my wisdom teeth. Now, I tolerate dentistry pain well, but this was unbearable. The dentist put local anesthesia and pulled away. One tooth was rooted well causing the dentist to pull with all his might (foot on the chair) to remove the tooth. This procedure (for one tooth) took an hour. I wish I was exaggerating! The only place my eyes could rest on was the clock starring at me. WHY WAS I NOT SLEEPING DURING THIS SURGERY?? I finally got my own insurance and thought it was time to switch dentists ASAP! Yelena recommended to me Dr. Hanna. I took a chance because who could be worse than the dentist who ripped my tooth out. I found out I had two cavities (first ones). My fright came back thinking about the cavity procedures. My friends told me "it hurts", "you can't eat for a couple hours after wards", or "your face will be numb all day." The day of the fillings, I decided to eat a huge breakfast (aka my last bfast). Of course when I lay on the dentist chair, I start to freak out. I held my breath and let the procedure begin. Not only did it not hurt, I could eat right away AND my face did not look numb. The local numbing was truly local. In addition, Dr. Hanna is very specific and precise on how his business is run, putting his patients' safety and health first. This attitude makes patients feel comfortable..yes comfortable at a dentist office. His staff is amazing and warm. They all are friendly and enjoy their jobs. I am happy I ran away from the scary dentist and was referred to Dr. Hanna.

When I was a child I use to just HATE going to see the dentist. In my 3+ years of seeing Dr Hanna, I have always been treated with respect and valued as a customer, never been in pain, and they always make my experience there pleasant. Went in for their $99 teeth cleaning/x-ray/exam special and was very impressed. Everyone who I came in contact with was very friendly.They answered all of my questions thoroughly and made several good recommendations, but didn't try to push unnecessary procedures.I don't have insurance, but found their pricing to be really affordable (plus, they make it a point to notify you of costs BEFORE they do the procedure - something not to be taken for granted).

It's been just over a year since I started going to Redwood City Dental with Dr. Hanna. I was a bit hesitant at first because they're located pretty far from where I live and I had been going to my previous dentist my entire life. But I needed a dental implant specialist and it's not easy to find one who really knows what they're doing. The whole procedure went something like... insert metal screw base in to bone, let bone heal around screw base, insert metal screw onto screw base, fit crown for screw, insert crown.... I'm pretty sure I missed a few details, but if you have any questions, definitely check out Redwood City Dental; my consultation visit was free! Today, I never even notice that I have a dental implant and sometimes I forget that it was just a year ago that I had the procedure done. Ahhh time flies... In fact, having my wisdom teeth pulled caused me more discomfort than the whole dental implant procedure. Sidenote: I use Redwood City Dental for my teeth cleanings and they've done a great job with that too! Also, making appointments with them is very easy. They are very willing to accommodate around your schedule and have cool phone text reminders for your upcoming appointments.

Root canals are scary to me, however this time it turned out to be a pleasnatly much milder experience for me. Dr. Petros and his assistant were both very attentive and caring.

Proffesional friendly staff and very capable Doctor. When I found out I needed an implant, it was unfamiliar territory for me so I naturally was worried. Dr Hanna and his staff quickly got me at ease and as it turns out it was for good reason. Minimal pain was involved for such a difficult procedure. I recommend this office very highly.
At a very early age, I was diagnosed with a very complicated dental case that, I was told, was going to be very difficult to manage, very expensive to fix. My teeth were crooked and gave me an awkwardly crooked smile. I spent most of my life not smiling and teaching myself to speak with as little open mouth movement as possible. All of that changed when I met with Dr. Petros. Upon our first meeting, he told me I had hope; that my situation could be fixed easily. He laid out a clear plan for me, including the financial and logistical details. I could tell that he was not after money only because there were many steps that he could have encouraged me to do but he said I didn?t need. Dr. Petros and his staff were kind, patient, accommodating and very encouraging. Dr. Petros never made me feel any pain. In fact, he is the LEAST PAINFUL dentist I have ever experienced in my life. After my surgery, I can truly say Dr. Petros gave me the smile I never dreamed I could have. I smile broadly now and feel no shame showing my teeth. He made me feel beautiful, a feeling I always felt lacking because of my teeth. I never realized what an impact it would make on my life since I had become so accustomed to managing my crooked smile. I have received many compliments from family and friends. I recommend Dr. Petros with the highest degree. He is professional, incredibly skilled and a true master of teeth. Best of all was to see how happy he became at my increased satisfaction.

This is a wonderful dental clinic. The staff and dentist are very caring and friendly. The biggest distinctions about this clinic is that the staff is really on top of educating and training you on how to take care of your teeth, they really want you to understand and realize the underlying problem behind your dental problems, and they really want to create a comprehensive dental plan that is individualized to meet your needs both in terms of your personal dental health and financial capabilities. This is the first dentist office I've ever been to where they did such a thorough and comprehensive evaluation to find out what was wrong. This is going to save me a lot of money in the future for dental care and will finally rid me of my dental issues!!!

The Dentist Dr. Petros is a wonderful dentist. He took his time and patiently worked on my teeth. He took great care in doing everything I was told i needed done. I have not seen my teeth in the shape i saw them after the work was done. I could not believe my eyes. I am so proud of my teeth now that i shall make sure all my friends, co-workers and family members see them.I could not have believed that I can still have beautiful teeth after all the years of disappointment.
